An underground stream runs out of the wall of a sinkhole, the water drops about 20' and immediately disappears back underground in the same sinkhole. So it's basically a waterfall with no visible watercourse. Unfortunately, this rare geological occurrence is located on private property and access is not permitted.

This pretty falls isn't the highest in the state, but it is scenic. About a quarter mile hike from the parking area brings you to the falls. Along the way you'll pass some very large rock outcrops and boulders that are worth exploring too.

Directions: Take Route 666 north from Kellettville for about 4.5 miles. You'll turn right on a narrow wooden bridge over Tionesta Creek. Follow Kingsley Road (dirt) for 2.2 miles to Coal Bed Road. Make a left on Coal Bed Road and drive 2.1 miles to the small parking area at N41 35.080 W79 09.578. The forest roads to Logan falls are a bit rough in spots, but with careful driving most cars shouldn't have any trouble. Follow the white blazed trail downhill for about a quarter mile to the falls.

Near the town of Oakley, Susquehanna County is a tributary to Martin's Creek. The falls are in that tributary. Near the posted coordinates is 6 foot drop with a small 3-5 foot shelf above it.. Further down the creek, there is a really nice shelf with a split, possibly about a 5-7 foot drop.

This gorgeous falls consists of an 8 foot "walk-behind" top falls, a 12 foot middle falls, and a 2 foot small falls. Tumbling water all along Round Island Run is very picturesque; a photographer's goldmine. Best time to come is after a hard rain when the falls will be running at their fullest.

Directions: Park along Round Island Ridge Road near Camp Liberty Bell. Round Island Run trail runs parallel to the stream behind the camp. (Access to the trail is also possible from the power line cut). Follow the trail downstream to the falls.

Tumbling Run Game Preserve is private land that's open to hikers. Tumbling Run is the name of a small but picturesque brook that literally tumbles down the steep hill over some sizeable boulders. The falls lies near the top of the mountain at an elevation of about 1500 feet. Very near the falls are large stone outcrops collectively known as Lewis Rocks, which provide a nice view of the valley below.

Directions: A small parking area is located along Route 233 at N40° 00.147 W77° 21.613. Various trails zigzag around the area, but your best bet is to head uphill on the trail right beside Tumbling Run. The hike is rather steep, but only about 3/4 of a mile long.

This is a very pretty 2 tiered waterfall. The first tier is small, but the second is much larger. Immediately downstream from the large falls are 3 smaller falls, between 1 and 3 feet high. While you're here, don't miss the smaller Kyler Run falls only a hundred feet or so downstream.
